Emily Lingerfelt

PT, MScPT

Emily Lingerfelt, PT is a passionate Physical Therapist. Having received her education at Queen’s University in Canada, Emily began her career in orthopedic care in Toronto. Her emergent focus concerns women’s health. She has received training in pelvic floor assessment. She hopes to continue her development as a pelvic floor physical therapist with courses in pre- and postnatal care, sexual dysfunction, incontinence and many other areas!

She is pursuing doula training concurrent with her development as a Physical Therapist to help the mamas she treats in another way. She feels it is important for women to have the support they want during their birth as well as before and after. Emily seeks to heal, as well as motivate her clients.

Emily is thrilled to be back in her hometown of Omaha, where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, focusing on development before continuing on to her Master’s in Physio at Queens.

When she is not at work, Emily can be found at home spending time with her partner, Tyler, and their two adorable pets, Millie and Gus. She loves cooking for her family and friends and always tries to make time for a little dancing, yoga or outdoor playtime!
