Dr. Krysta Winkelmann

PT, DPT

Dr. Krysta was born and raised in Omaha, NE. She graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2013 and has been practicing in Omaha for the last 11 years. She has experience with a variety of diagnoses. She is certified through Myopain in Trigger Point Dry Needling and incorporates her dry needling expertise frequently into her practice.

After her unplanned C-section with her daughter, Nora, Dr. Krysta felt a calling to switch gears into the women’s health world. She has gained so much empathy for women and loves to see women have healthy, successful, and enjoyable pregnancies and deliveries. She realizes the huge impact that carrying babies can have on our bodies as we age and truly enjoys helping women of all ages improve their quality of life through movement and education. Dr. Krysta is a spin instructor at Elevate Cycling and Fitness and coaches volleyball with Premier Volleyball in her spare time. She is married to her husband Brandon and together have two daughters, Nora and Ada, an angel baby, Nolan, and their German Shepard/Lab mix, Ozzie. They are huge Atlanta Braves fans, love hanging at the pool in the summer, visiting local breweries, going to concerns, and spending time with their extended families!
